Who’s the new guy?
We are excited to introduce you to Rich Unger who is well known in the golfing community and already proving himself a great asset as the new Director of Golf Operations at Heritage Isles Golf & Country Club.
Rich Unger brings us 30 years of golf course operation experience. A class “A”member of the PGA for 24 years, Rich has successfully managed several clubs in the Tampa Bay area.
His expertise in customer service, golf course maintenance, marketing and tournament operations will help build on Heritage Isles’ reputation as a top golf destination in the Tampa Bay area.
Rich is very involved in charity events and has been the tournament director for several charitable celebrity golf tournaments in our area. Under his leadership, the Turning Point Charitable Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament held this past April raised over $20,000, and Heritage Isles will be proud to host this event in 2018!
Rich was also instrumental in securing the PGA America Latino qualifying school at one of his former courses.
Rich’s strong background and enthusiasm for the game will help us continue to forge great relationships with our current golfers, future golfers and the community at large.
